I have filmed my first Jewish wedding in 2007, which was the year when I started my Wedding videography business here in Boston MA. I came to US with my wife in 2002 from Czechoslovakia, and what I have noticed, when filming Jewish weddings, is that there is many Jewish wedding traditions, that were also part of the weddings in Czechoslovakia, or other neighboring countries. The answer is probably an obvious one, since the proximity of all of the countries in the Eastern European Region, caused various wedding traditions to be part at various weddings.
I felt right at home when I noticed these traditions, and it made me confident and comfortable. We have photographed and filmed many Jewish weddings since then, and that helped me to learn about more traditions and their importance at Jewish weddings.
